A simple and delicious stew with sausage and mushrooms in tomato sauce. It fits perfectly with rice, potatoes, groats or bread. Easily available ingredients, quick and easy preparation, and the taste is brilliant 🙂


500 g Silesian sausage, thickly sliced
500 g diced mushrooms
1 large onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, chopped
1 red bell pepper, cut into large cubes
500 ml of tomato puree
4 pickled cucumbers, diced
frying oil
1 teaspoon of oregano
salt and pepper
pinch of sugar
1/4 cup of water
a bunch of chopped parsley


Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausage until golden brown. Add the onion and mushrooms, season with oregano, mix thoroughly and fry together for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are golden brown. Add garlic and paprika and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the tomato puree, water, sugar, salt and pepper and stew it all uncovered for 10-15 minutes. At the end, add the cucumbers and chopped parsley, stew them together for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper 🙂
