One of the simplest casseroles, but one of the tastiest. You could say that it is a warm version of the delicious gyros salad. The ingredients go well together, the sauce overlaps all the elements of the dish, and the slightly crunchy cheese is like the icing on the cake, just an unearthly casserole ๐Ÿ™‚

Ingredients:

350 g of fusilli pasta, cooked according to the instructions on the package
400 g of diced chicken breast
2 teaspoons of gyros spice
1 red onion, diced
1 red pepper, diced
4 pickled cucumbers, diced
1 small can of corn (160 g)
1 tablespoon of butter to grease a casserole dish
3 tablespoons of ketchup
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
200 g mozzarella cheese, grated
frying oil
small chopped chinese cabbage (optional)

Procedure:

Mix the chicken with the gyros spice and refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the ingredients combine. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the onion until it is glassy. Add chicken and fry until golden brown. Mix the peppers, pickled cucumbers, and corn in a bowl. In a small bowl, mix the ketchup and mayonnaise. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and pour the cooked pasta into it. Brush evenly with half of the ketchup sauce and mayonnaise. The next layer will be fried chicken. Put the mixed vegetables on top. Brush evenly with the remaining sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 180ยบC for 15-20 minutes. Serve with cabbage ๐Ÿ™‚
