One of my favorite pasta dishes right after the creamy carbonara. The preparation is extremely simple, quick and the dish is simply brilliant. A great pepper and tomato sauce together with a distinctive, smoked sausage create the perfect flavor composition. Easy, fast and delicious! 🙂

250 g of fusilli pasta, cooked according to the instructions on the package
150 g Hungarian pepper sausage, cubed
1 medium onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 red pepper, cubed
1 can of sliced tomatoes, peeled (400g)
1 tablespoon of sweet pepper
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper to taste
hot pepper (optional)
frying oil
grated Parmesan cheese

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and sausage. Then add the garlic, paprika and sweet pepper, mix everything and fry together for a while. Add the tomatoes with the marinade, sugar, a pinch of salt and ¼ teaspoon of pepper, stew them together for about 10 minutes, until the sauce is slightly thickened. Add the cooked pasta and mix everything thoroughly so that the pasta is covered with sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
