Fried carp is a traditional Polish dish, you can even say that it is a must during Christmas in Poland. This fish is full of flavor, so it does not require many spices, it is easy to prepare and in my opinion it is worth eating it also during everyday dinner, not only on holidays, because it is simply delicious 🙂


200 g carp fillet
pinch of salt
flour for coating
oil for frying


Clean and dry the fish. Rub all over with salt and cut into slices. Coat each fish slice with flour. Heat oil in a pan over a medium heat. Fry the fish for 5 minutes on each side or until crisp golden brown. Drain in a paper towel to remove excess fat. Serve 🙂
