Pork loin in its own sauce is a traditional Polish dish liked by many people. The long cooking time makes the meat tender and melts in the mouth. A great idea for a simple, aromatic and tasty family lunch 🙂

Ingredients:

500 g pork loin
1 onion, diced
a glass of hot water (250 ml)
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon of 18% cream
oil for frying

Procedure:

Cut the pork into 4-5 slices and break with a pestle. Rub with your fingers on both sides with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a frying pan so that it smokes slightly. Put the slices of pork and fry on each side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown (if its light it will also be ok, and thanks to this the sauce will acquire taste and color). Add onions and fry for about 2 minutes on low heat. Pour hot water over the amount of meat (depends on the size of the pan), stir. Using a spoon, take 5 tablespoons of water from the decoction and put into a glass, it will be the basis for thickening the sauce. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 40-50 minutes until the meat softens. After this time, add the cream and flour to the glass with the separated cooled decoction, mix thoroughly. Add to the pan with meat to thicken the sauce and mix everything. Cook for about a minute. Serve with your favorite additions, mashed potatoes with cucumber salad for me 🙂

Enjoy!
