Strawberry sauce or strawberry topping is very often used for various desserts. After all, I prefer to use my own sauce without unspecified additions. A simple way to prepare your own strawberry sauce, and the taste of the topping will make any dessert delicious 🙂
250 g fresh strawberries, chopped
3 tablespoon of granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
⅓ cup of water
1 tablespoon of potato flour
In a small saucepan over a medium heat, combine the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Break the strawberries using a fork and simmer until became soft and juice has reduced. Dissolved potato flour in water. Lower the fire and pour the flour mixture into to strawberries. Stir for about 2 minutes. Transfer to a jar and let it cool. Cover and refrigerate. Ready to top for cakes, crepes or ice cream.
