A Filipino dish and one of my Husband’s favorite. This dish is mostly served in every occasions in Philippines. You can eat this with rice dip into ketchup or eat with bread. I am happy to share this family recipe. 🙂

Ingredients:

500 g ground pork
2 large eggs (beaten)
1 medium size carrots (grated)
1 onion (diced)
1 garlic (diced)
3 tbsp soysauce
3 tbsp breadcrumbs
½ cup pickles relish
½ cup raisins
½ cup green peas
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
4 pcs hotdogs (cut into half lengthwise)
3 hard-boiled eggs
melted butter for greasing

Procedure:

Put the ground pork into a big bowl, add onion, garlic, soysauce, breadcrumbs, eggs, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Add the carrots, pickles, raisins, green peas, cheese and mix until well combined. Grease the aluminum foil with butter and put the meat mixture and flatten it. Place the hotdog and eggs in the center and roll the foil to form the meat into cylinder, locking the hotdogs and egg in the center. Twist the both end of the foil to lock. Steam for 50-60 minutes in a medium heat.
