Chicken and Bacon Pasta
A very simple and extremely delicious dish with pasta, chicken, crispy bacon and a delicious creamy sauce. All the ingredients of this dish goes well together, if you haven’t tried to make such a dish, try it as soon as possible, because it’s amazing! 🙂
Ingredients
350 g penne pasta, cooked according to the package instruction
500 g chicken breast, cut into cubes
150 g bacon, cubed and fried
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 cloves of garlic, minced
150 g cherry tomato, halved
1 cup of spinach
¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
½ cup of milk
200 ml cream 30%
1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
Combine the chicken, sweet paprika and italian seasoning in a medium-sized bowl. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the chicken connect with the spices. Heat olive oil in a pan over a medium heat. Fry the chicken until cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add the garlic, tomatoes, spinach and red pepper flakes. Pour in milk and cream and bring to a boil. Add the parmesan cheese and stir until it melts and makes the sauce creamy. Add in the cooked chicken, pasta and half of the cooked bacon and toss them together. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with left bacon, parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if desired 🙂
