A Filipino-style sausage that is usually served for breakfast. I really like when my Mom cooking for us longganisa for breakfast because of its smell that wakes me up and with its sweet and garlicky taste served with fried rice and sunny side up egg and some vegetables. And now that I am a Mom I also preparing this hearty-breakfast for my kids 🙂

Ingredients:

250g ground pork (better with fat)
2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp sweet chili powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
2-3 tbsp ketchup

Procedure:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for an hour. Scoop 2 tablespoon of the mixture and place in wax paper. Fold the wax paper until a sausage shaped is formed. Refrigerate for a night. Fry in oil. Serve it with fried rice, sunny side up egg and with vegetables.
