Pork stews are most often prepared in Polish cuisine, but beef stews are also very popular and equally delicious. This meat is rich in protein and gives a feeling of fullness for a long time. The recipe is simple, the ingredients are easily available and the taste rewards you waiting for the meat to be tender 🙂

Ingredients:

500 g of beef for stew, diced
2 carrots, cut into half-plates
1 medium onion, cut into large cubes
2 bay leaves
3 allspice
100 ml cream 30%
1 teaspoon of thyme
½ teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of marjoram
1 cup of hot broth
oil for frying

Procedure:

Heat the oil over high heat and fry the meat on each side. Add carrots and onions and fry together for a while. Add bay leaves, allspice, thyme, marjoram and pepper and mix. Pour the broth over it and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally for about 1½ hours until the meat is soft. You can add broth when too much evaporates. At the end, add the cream, mix thoroughly and bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes. Optionally, season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Enjoy!
