Ingredients:

160 g of flour
½ flat teaspoon of baking powder
½ flat teaspoon of baking soda
pinch of salt
60 g butter, melted and warm
75 g peanut butter
30 g nutella
50 g granulated sugar
100 g light brown sugar
1 egg plus 1 egg yolk, in room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
150 g semi-sweet dark chocolate chunks, roughly chopped or chocolate chips
1 cup of chopped walnuts

Procedure:

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Microwave the butter until melted and pour into another bowl. Stir the peanut butter and nutella into the hot melted butter. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Add the egg and yolk one at a time stirring well after each addition. Add in the vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chunks and walnuts. Place the cookie dough into a plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. After this time, allow the dough to sit at a room temperature to soften enough to scoop the dough. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Scoop the dough and arrange at least 2-3 inches apart on your prepared baking sheets. Slightly flatten each dough by palm. Dot some chocolate chunks on top. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies begin to brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely (you can also store in an airtight container up to 1 week). Serve with your favorite tea or milk 🙂

Enjoy!
