Breakfasts are a very important meal that gives us energy to start the day, so I pay a lot of attention to nutritious breakfasts. Couscous with porridge, chocolate and fruit that will provide us with a lot of energy for the whole day with lots of vitamins from fruits. The cocoa and chocolate flavor will make the day perfect. A delicious and easy breakfast recipe for just only 10 minutes 🙂

Ingredients:

¼ cup of couscous
¼ cup of oats
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
pinch of salt
½ cup boiling water
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of maple syrup (optional)
3-4 squares of semi-sweet dark chocolate chocolates
fruit toppings: banana and berries

Procedure:

Combine couscous, oats, sugar and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Stir in cocoa powder and maple syrup (to make it more sweet) into a cup with water. Pour into a bowl with couscous, stir and cover for 10 minutes. Top with chocolates, banana and berries. You can also top with other desired toppings and sweeteners 🙂
