Prawns and Pasta in Cream Sauce and basil
Seafood and pasta? Why not! A quick recipe with a great combination of pasta and prawns that will make your day. A creamy and delicious recipe that everyone will like especially for pasta and seafood lover 🙂
Ingredients:
1 kg green shrimps (peeled)
2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
6-8 semi sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
1 cup cream
1 cup basil leaves
½ cup white wine
500 g pasta
olive oil
parmesan cheese (grated)
salt and pepper
Procedure:
Boil a large pot of salted water with oil and cook the pasta. Heat olive oil in a large pan, add prawns and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes in a medium heat until just cooked, remove and set aside. In the same pan pour in the white wine, add dried tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until wine has reduced. Add cream and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Return cooked prawns to sauce, add cooked pasta and basil leaves and stir through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with parmesan cheese.
