Pizza rolls are a great alternative to a classic pizza. A dish loved by both children and adults, it is a simple delicious appetizer perfect for a party or as a snack 🙂


pizza dough (recipe)
tomato sauce or pizza sauce (recipe)
4-5 pieces of ham, cut into cube
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
basil leaves
5 tablespoon of butter, melted
½ teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon italian seasoning


Prepare the pizza dough. Sprinkle the rolling board with flour. Roll the dough for a rectangular into a 24×12” rectangle that is about 1/4″ thick. Spread the pizza sauce over the whole dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Top with ham and carefully roll the dough tightly. Cut into 10 slices and place into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover and allow the dough to rise again for 20 minutes. By this time, mix melted butter, garlic powder and italian seasoning. Brush the top of the rolls and bake at 180ºC for 15 minutes or until the rolls are lightly golden brown. Allow the rolls to cool for 5 minutes and serve with basil leaves on top.
