Salmon with asparagus is a great idea for a seasonal lunch or dinner. A simple, fast and aromatic dish with mixed fish and vegetable flavors is a great combination for a healthy, fragrant and nutritious dish for everyone 🙂

Ingredients:

500 g salmon
250g asparagus
pinch of garlic powder
pinch of onion powder
pinch of dried basil
salt and pepper
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp dried marjoram
a pinch of dried cilantro
½ tsp dried thyme
3 tbsp lemon juice
a pinch of sugar
½ cup chicken stock

Procedure:

Clean the salmon and dry with paper towel, rub it with salt, pepper, dried basil, garlic powder and onion powder. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to let the salmon connect with the spices. In a large pan over a medium heat, melt-in the butter and add olive oil. Add the salmon and fry both side until golden brown. Set aside. In the same pan, Saute the garlic, oregano, rosemary, marjoram, cilantro, and thyme. Stir and cook for about 1-2 minutes. Add the bulion or chicken stock. Por in the lemon juice, sugar and the asparagus. Cook until tender and as the broth has absorbed and became a thick sauce. Put back the salmon into the pan to reheat and mix with sauce. Transfer to a plate together with the asparagus. Serve with mashed potatoes. 🙂
