Another recipe that I have known since childhood and which my mother prepared. This dish won the heart of my husband, who eagerly eats shrimp prepared in this style. Simple ingredients that will definitely satisfy the taste buds of seafood lovers 🙂


1 kilo shrimps (with shells, cleaned)
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sweet chili powder
1 tsp spicy chili powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ glass of sprite
cheese, grated
spring onion, chopped
2 tbsp oil


Heat the oil into a big deep pan over a medium heat. Add the half of the garlic and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the left garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute. Put-in the shrimps Fry and stir until color change to orange. Add sweet chili powder, spicy chili powder, ground black pepper, salt and pour in the sprite. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove cover. Stir-fry for 5 minutes more until the sauce has thicken. Garnish with cheese, spring onion and fried garlic. Serve. (you can also dip it in spicy vinegar with garlic) 🙂
