It seems that this is just a regular sandwich and there is nothing special about it, but this simple recipe will be a proof. The taste of this oven-made hot dog is much better than the classic hot dog, with the ingredients that are nice to bite and the cheese dissolves perfectly. Simple and very tasty perfect for your movie night with family or friends! 🙂

Ingredients:

4 hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
2 pickled cucumbers, cut into round slices
half red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 small red onion, cut into round slices
ketchup and mustard
100g grated yellow cheese

Procedure:

Cut the hot dog buns into butterfly cut (in half lengthwise without separating). Grease with mayonnaise and mustard (it can be ketchup or any sauce), put onion and cucumber slices, bell pepper strips on each side and finally put the sausage in the middle (you can also start with the sausage or however you want that will make your comfortable). Sprinkle with cheese. Preheat the oven to 180ºC and bake the hot dog sandwich for 12-15 minutes. To taste, you can add the ketchup or your favorite sauce on top.
