Yellow beans are a seasonal vegetable extremely popular in Polish cuisine. It is perfect both as a side dish and as a standalone dish. A simple recipe for a delicious bean roux of breadcrumbs and butter that is simply irresistible. Great for both adults and children 🙂

500 g of yellow beans
4 tablespoons of butter
spoon of salt
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

Cut off the ends of the beans on each side and rinse. Put it in a pot, pour cold water over it and add salt. Bring to a boil and cook for about 20 minutes, until the beans are tender (young beans may come faster, even after 10 minutes). Drain the beans. In a frying pan, melt the butter, add the breadcrumbs and fry until the breadcrumbs turn brown. Add the beans and mix well so that the beans are thoroughly rolled into crumbs. Serve warm 🙂
