Cheese boat with egg
Impress all family members with this boat-like with egg breakfast, in which additional flavors of cheeses and ham are hidden. A great way to start the day with this amazing and delicious breakfast. Meal that will definitely make your tummy happy 🙂
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups flour
½ cup warm water
½ tsp of dried yeast
pinch of salt
pinch of sugar
1 tsp oil
2 slices of ham
2 slices of yellow cheese (e.g. cheddar)
70 g mozzarella cheese
40 g feta cheese
3 eggs
chives
pepper
Preparation:
Sift flour into a bowl, add yeast, salt, sugar, oil and water. Mix the ingredients and then knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Leave in a bowl covered with a cloth to rise for an hour (or longer if the dough does not rise at least twice) in a warm place. Cut the ham and all cheeses into smaller pieces and mix. Divide the risen dough into 2 pieces and roll into round pancakes about half a centimeter thick. In the middle of the dough, apply a mixture of cheese and ham. Wrap the opposite sides so that the connection forms the shape of a boat, we glue the ends together so that they do not fall apart. Whisk one egg and grease the dough. Preheat the oven to 220ºC (top – bottom) and bake our boats for about 15 minutes. After this time, open the oven, lightly knead the stuffing with a spoon and add an egg to the center of our boats. Put back in the oven for 4-5 minutes until the protein is cut and the yolk is liquid. We remove from the oven and sprinkle with pepper and chives.
