Simple to make, extremely tasty and beautifully presented cake. Together with sweet blueberries and a crispy crumble, they make an incredibly tasty dessert. The perfect snack for everyone, suitable for coffee, tea or simply as a sweet snack 🙂



4 eggs
200g of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup of oil
2 cups flour
1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
1 ½ cups of blueberries


100g of flour
75g of clarified butter
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
50g of granulated sugar


For the Cake:

Rinse the blueberries on a sieve under running water and leave to drain. Meanwhile, beat eggs and sugar until white. Pour in the oil and vanilla extract and mash for a while. Sift flour mixed with baking powder and mash until ingredients are combined. Pour the batter into a buttered and sprinkled breadcrumbs springform pan with a diameter of 26 cm. Put drained blueberries on top.

For the Crumble:

Melt the butter. Mix the flour with sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour in the melted butter and stir until a crumble is formed. Sprinkle it over the fruit spread on the cake.


Preheat the oven to 175°C. Bake for 45 minutes (top and bottom heating). Remove the baked cake from the oven and let it cool down. Before serving, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
