Baked Tomatoes
I love cherry tomatoes, they are sweet, they go great with various dishes as a salad, snack or as an addition to main courses. This time, I present to you a recipe for baked cherry tomatoes with garlic and herbs, which are perfect as an addition to a dish, as a side dish or as a snack. The smell and taste of tomatoes is brilliant, and they look beautiful 🙂
Ingredients:
500 g of cherry tomatoes on twigs, washed
6-7 garlic cloves unpeeled
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of dried basil
freshly ground pepper to taste
a pinch of Himalayan salt (can be normal salt)
Procedure:
Put the tomatoes in an ovenproof dish and put the garlic cloves between the tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and season with spices. You can prick the tomatoes with a toothpick to keep them from splashing while baking. Put the dish in the oven preheated to 200°C (heating element up – down) for about 20 minutes. Tomatoes are great as an addition to a dish, for example ribs, but also as a regular snack with fresh bread 🙂
