Bacon-Tomato-Lettuce Wrap
I love all kinds of wrappers, twisters and tortilla wraps. This time, instead of using wheat products as a wrapper, I decided to use butterhead lettuce like korean-style. An interesting way to have a tasty snack with a cream sauce, bacon and lettuce or can also be good option as your side dish 🙂
Ingredients:
200g bacon, cubed
¼ cup sour cream
2 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
½ teaspoon sugar
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper powder
1 big tomato, seeded and chopped
3 iceberg or butterhead lettuce
Procedure:
In a pan over a medium heat, fry the bacon until brown and crispy. Remove the bacon from pan and set aside. Prepare the salad individually and nicely deep. In a big mixing bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix. Add chopped tomatoes and bacon. Mix. Pour in bacon-tomato mixture into the prepared lettuce. You may eat it right away or you may serve it as your side dish 🙂
Enjoy!
