Ravioli In A Tomato Beef Sauce
You could say that ravioli are such Italian dumplings. However, to emphasize the taste of this dish, it is worth serving it together with a delicious tomato sauce and beef. The ingredients fit together perfectly, they look great and it’s a wonderful option for a tasty dinner 🙂
Ingredients:
500 g ground beef
1 jar or 680 g passata or tomato sauce
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon of granulated garlic
½ teaspoon dried rosemary
½ teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon sweet pepper
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
10-15 pieces of ravioli, homemade or store-bought
½ cup of parmesan cheese
fresh basil for garnish
oil for frying
Procedure:
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Pour in the passata or tomato sauce and milk. Add the spices,sugar and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Bring to a boil and stir in ravioli. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until ravioli is soft and cooked through. Stir occasionally. Serve with parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil 🙂
