Raspberry Cream Cheese Oatmeal
Oatmeal is a nutritious breakfast that gives you energy for the whole day. The porridge itself is a little bit boring for some people and it’s hard for them to finish the dish. With the addition of fruit and dairy products which gives a twist creates a really delicious and hearty breakfast that surely both kids and adults will like 🙂
Ingredients:
1 cup Old-fashioned oatmeal
½ cup fresh raspberries
1 ½ cup water
¼ cup milk
1 tbsp Greek yogurt
1 ½ tbsp cream cheese
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp maple syrup
Procedure:
Mash the raspberries into a small mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, yogurt and vanilla extract and mix well. Set aside. Pour in the water into a medium sized saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add the oats and stir occasionally. Reduce heat into low. Add the milk and simmer for about 2-3 minutes or until thickens. Transfer the oats into a bowl. Pour-in the maple syrup. Add-in the raspberry cream cheese mixture and mix. Topped some raspberries or you can add more maple syrup 🙂
