A recipe similar to the classic leche flan, but this time with the addition of a delicious pumpkin. Pumpkin flan is a sweet pumpkin pie with a fluffy texture, with the addition of great caramel. Perfect dessert for autumn time 🙂


1 cup of pumpkin puree
3 large eggs (egg yolk)
380 g condensed milk
390 g evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup of sugar (for caramel)
6 tablespoons of water


Put sugar and water in a saucepan. Allow to boil and mix until golden. Transfer immediately into a flan molder. Allow to cool. Stir the egg yolk into a mixing bowl. Add the pumpkin puree. Pour in the evaporated milk, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir to combine. Transfer the mixture into another bowl using a strainer to remove bubbles. Pour everything to the flan molder and cover with foil. Preheat the oven to 150°C, once the oven is ready add water into a deep baking tray. Bake the flan for 45 minutes.
