Marshmallow foams are adored in all corners of the world. It’s a great, sweet addition to hot drinks, as well as a nice piece of sweets. There are many recipes for marshmallow, but most look like the cook would have to finish a PhD in cooking first, so that’s why I want to share with you this simple and effective foam recipe for everyone 🙂

Ingredients:

250 g sugar
100 ml lukewarm water
70 ml ice-cold water
1 tablespoon of gelatin
â…› cup icing sugar + to coat

Preparation:

Mix cold water with gelatin and set aside. Prepare a pot with a thick bottom. Pour lukewarm water into it and bring to a boil. Slowly add sugar and mix until dissolved. Reduce to smaller heat and cook the syrup for 12 minutes, stirring very often. Grease the baking tin with oil and covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to form a thick layer. After 12 minutes, remove the syrup from the heat and slowly pour into the water with gelatin, mixing all the time with a mixer. When all the syrup is in the bowl, mix it for 15-20 minutes, until the mass is white, fluffy and thick. It should increase the volume 2-3 times. Pour the finished mass into the prepared baking tray with baking paper and level it. Cover with a cloth and leave overnight so that the mass dries well. After this time, the foams can be cut into any shape and stored in an airtight container for 5-7 days. It is a great addition to cocoa, coffee, cookies or stick on fire 🙂

Enjoy!
