Garlic Butter Crab
I love seafoods especially crabs. I love eating all dishes with crabs, I can literally sit at the table all the time and nibble on these shellfish. This recipe is one of my favorite ever since I was a kid. Quick and simple, and easily available ingredients emphasize the crab, but do not dominate its taste. The perfect composition of ingredients caress the palate 🙂
Ingredients:
1 kilo crab
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sweet chili powder
1 tsp spicy chili powder
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp salt
½ glass of sprite
cheese, grated
spring onion, chopped
2 tbsp oil
Procedure:
Heat the oil into a big deep pan over a medium heat. Add half of the garlic and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add the left garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute. Put in the crabs. Fry and stir until color change to orange. Add sweet chili powder, spicy chili powder, ground black pepper, salt and pour in the sprite. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove cover. Stir-fry for 5 minutes more until the sauce has thicken. Garnish with cheese, spring onion and fried garlic. Serve. (you can also dip it in a spicy vinegar with garlic) 🙂
Enjoy!
