Chicken and broccoli are one of my favorite combinations. They are light ingredients, but very tasty and healthy. With the addition of soy sauce, we get a very interesting mix of flavors of Asian cuisine 🙂

Ingredients:

250 g chicken breast, cubed
250 g broccoli florets
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon chili paste
1 teaspoon cornstarch or potato flour
oil for frying

Procedure:

Cook the broccoli florets in a boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside. Heat pan over a medium heat. Add oil. Saute the onions for 2-3 minutes or until it turns into a glassy color. Add the garlic and stir. Add the chicken and stir-fry for 5-8 minutes. Sprinkle with cornstarch or potato flour. Fry until it turns into nicely brown color. Add soy sauce, honey and chili paste. Mix. Stir in cooked broccoli. Mix to combine all the ingredients. Serve with boiled rice 🙂

Enjoy!
