Breadsticks is a perfect snack for everyone. Since my family like it, so i tried make for them. Why you have to buy in shop if you can make it in your home. Only you have to give a little patience to make the dough and you will can have a tasty breadstick that your family can eat for their snack 🙂


2 ½ cups of flour
1 cup warm water
a tbsp oil
a flat tsp sugar
a flat tsp dry yeast
pinch of salt
egg yolk
sesame seeds


Sift-in the flour through a strainer into a big mixing bowl. Add water, oil, salt, sugar and yeast. Using a fork, mix all ingredients, then knead the dough to evenly distribute all the ingredients (for about 10 minutes). Put the dough in a bowl and cover with a cloth. Leave in a warm place for an hour. If you don’t have a warm place at home, you can put it in the oven at 35ºC to make the dough rise. After this time, roll out the dough on the board with flour sprinkled to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. Cut the strips into 2 cm with a knife and roll or spin them in a spiral. Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper, cover and set aside again in a warm place for about 30 minutes. After this time, preheat the oven to 220ºC, beat the egg yolk and brush the sticks. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and put in the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes or until it turns to golden brown.
