Shrimp Boil
Shrimp and Polish sausage are popular in the Philippines. Do you think that it can be good combination? Of course! With the addition of vegetables, it will create a really tasty, nutritious and easy to prepare dish for lovers of meat and seafood 🙂
Ingredients:
500 g shrimps, deveined and removed head
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 red onion, cut into quartered
2 lemons, cut into quartered
2 corn cobs, cooked and divided into 3 per corn
50 g polish sausage, sliced
6-7 small potatoes, cut into halves
4 glasses of water
2 tablespoon of butter
3 tablespoon old bay seasoning
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Procedure:
Pour in water into a big pot. Add garlic, onion, lemon and old bay seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for 12 minutes. Add sausage and cook for another 3 minutes. Add corn and shrimps and cook for 3-5 minutes or until shrimps turned into pinkish color. Separate a half glass of broth. Drain the shrimps mixture and transfer into a bowl. Melt the butter into a separated broth. Pour in the separated broth into shrimps mixture as its sauce. Add some sliced lemon on top and garnish with chopped parsley 🙂
