My husband decided to keep fit (because he eats too many cakes) so he started running. As a good wife, I have to keep him hydrated, so instead of buying ready-made colorful isotonic drinks with various strange sweeteners and enhancers, I decided to make this drink myself from simple homemade ingredients. The taste of this drink is great, the preparation is quick and extremely simple, and the drink hydrates more effectively than regular water 🙂


1 l of mineral water
3 tablespoons of honey
a large pinch of salt
juice of one lemon
a few mint leaves (optional)
a few ice cubes (optional)


Mix the water with honey, salt and lemon juice. If the honey is crystallized, stir until it melts (you can use a shaker, for example). Add mint leaves and ice cubes to taste.
