Egg Stuffed Pork Meatballs
Fried pork meatballs with egg are an interesting and tasty variation of the classic meatballs. The recipe is simple and quick, and the meatballs will surely surprise the household members with its filling. A crispy crust, juicy meat and a delicious egg are a great combination and a great variety to our dish 🙂
Ingredients:
500g ground pork
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, diced
1 egg
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs plus ½ cup for coating
salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup of flour, for coating
1 beaten egg, for coating
4 boiled egg, for stuffing
½ cup of oil for frying
Procedure:
Place in a large bowl the ground pork, garlic, onion, egg, soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Mix by hand to thoroughly incorporate. Scoop up enough pork to make a large indentation in the centre, insert on boiled egg and roll into a ball. Roll the meat balls in the flour and shake off any excess. Dip in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs, pressing to coat. Fry the meatballs for 8-10 minutes or crispy golden brown. Serve with your favorite salad 🙂
