Being in Poland is a dish that you just have to learn to make. With more breadcrumbs (or ordinary breadcrumbs) and water (or milk), you had a good way to feed a larger family. You can eat them traditionally with potatoes, in a sauce and even create burgers 🙂

Ingredients:

500 g minced meat from a pork shoulder
1 medium onion
1 egg
5-6 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 ½ tbsp water
1 teaspoon ground pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
additional breadcrumbs, for coating
3-4 tablespoons of frying oil

Preparation.

Grate the onion on a grater or diced. Transfer to a bowl. Add meat, egg, water, breadcrumbs, pepper and salt. Knead by hand for 5-7 minutes until the ingredients combine and the meat mass will not stick. You can optionally add more breadcrumbs. Form small meatballs and coat them in breadcrumbs. Heat oil and fry on each side for 8 minutes on low heat. You can cut one meatballs to make sure it is fried inside. Serve with potatoes, cucumber salad or beetroot.

Enjoy!
