Roast Turkey Breast
A great recipe for a juicy and tasty roasted turkey breast. This dish is perfect when hot, as a delicious lunch, and cold as an addition to sandwiches. From the resulting juices and marinades, you can also prepare a delicious sauce that will further emphasize the taste of this roast. Simple preparation, and the taste and visual effect is brilliant ๐
Ingredients:
1 kg of turkey breast
4 tablespoons of oil
1 tablespoon of water
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon of sweet pepper
1 teaspoon of thyme
1 teaspoon of Provencal herbs
2 teaspoons of sarepska mustard
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients except the meat to make a marinade. Place the breast in an ovenproof dish and pour all the marinade over it. Rub the meat thoroughly. Put the dish with the meat in the fridge overnight. Take the turkey dish out about an hour before putting it in the oven. Preheat the oven to 180ยบC (top – bottom) and bake, covered, for about 45 minutes. After this time, remove the lid and bake for another 20 minutes for the breast to turn brown.
If you like sauce, you can thicken the resulting turkey juices and marinades with a roux of flour and butter ๐
