Oatmeal Porridge with Pine Nuts and Fresh Fruits
What’s the best way to start the day? Of course with a healthy, nutritious, energetic, colorful, delicious breakfast. And such a breakfast is this great porridge with nuts and delicious fruit. A great dose of energy to start the day perfectly 🙂
Ingredients:
½ cup quick oats or rolled oats
2 cups of water
½ cup of milk
2 tablespoons of sugar (optional)
fresh fruits like, banana, kiwi and strawberry
and pine nuts for toppings
Procedure:
Combine the oats and water into a pot. Cook into a medium heat and bring to a boil. Add in milk and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally until it slightly thickens. Add sugar (if you want it to be sweet) and stir. Transfer into a bowl and top with fresh fruits and pine nuts 🙂 Serve oats porridge hot or warm or at room temperature and top with your favorite toppings and sweetener 🙂
