Cajun Shrimp Pasta
Cajun spice has many uses in the kitchen, it goes well with seafood, pork or you can make a great yoghurt-based dip. A slightly spicy cajun mix can be obtained both at home by mixing appropriate spices and you can find a ready mix in the store. The preparation of cajun shrimp pasta is extremely simple and quick and the taste of the dish is just great. In a short time, you’ll definitely have a delicious dinner 🙂

Ingredients:
250 g penne pasta
400 g raw shrimp, deveined and cleaned
2 tablespoons of cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup cream 30%
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Procedure:
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. While the pasta is cooking, place the shrimp, cajun seasoning and oil into a bowl. Toss to combine. Heat a large pan over a medium heat. Add the butter and melt. Fry the shrimp into batches until they turn golden brown on each side. Transfer the cooked shrimp into a clean plate. Meanwhile, in the same pan, pour in the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Add the parmesan cheese and stir to melt and the sauce has thickens. Add in the cooked pasta and shrimp. Garnish with parsley when serving 🙂
