Apple Sauce
A great and simple applesauce will give character to any dish, both sweet and salty. It is perfect as a filling for donuts or an addition to a roasted duck. Simple ingredients, simple execution, and the taste of the dishes goes to the next level 🙂
Ingredients:
2 apples, peeled, seeded and sliced
3 tablespoons of water
100 ml of milk
1 teaspoon of flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
pinch of cinnamon
Procedure:
Put the apples into the pot and pour-in the water. Simmer, covered, in low heat for several minutes, stirring occasionally so as not to burn the fruit. During this time, mix the remaining ingredients thoroughly in the glass. When the apples are overcooked, blend them into a mush. Add the milk mixture to the blended apples and simmer. Alternatively, season with cinnamon and sweeten it. The sauce is perfect as a meat addition and as a filling for donuts 🙂
Enjoy!
