Pork Stew
I really like to prepare stews, because they are usually stews, they do themselves, and they taste brilliant. This time, I present to you an easier and faster version of the traditional pork stew, which is really easy to prepare and extremely tasty. In addition, it tastes even better reheated for the next day 🙂
Ingredients:
1 kg of pork shoulder, cubed
diced1 large onion, halved
1 heaped tablespoon of flour
½ liter of hot water
½ teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vegeta or universal seasoning
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of sweet pepper
½ teaspoon of hot pepper
1 teaspoon wild garlic
1 tablespoon of oil
Procedure:
Mix the meat with the spices and set aside for 20 minutes for the flavors to bite. Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat. Sauté the meat in batches until brown on each side. At the end of cooking the meat, add the onion and sauté together for 5 minutes. Pour it all over with hot, preferably boiling, water. Mix thoroughly and pour ⅕ cup of the stock into the vessel, the poured broth will be used to thicken the sauce. Cover the stew for about an hour until the meat is tender. Add flour to the previously poured stock and mix thoroughly. Pour this mixture into the stew and bring it to the boil, stirring constantly. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with the spices that were used in marinating the meat. Serve without the onion 🙂
Enjoy!
